The 25th Hive Skin Analysis (“we”, “us”) provides email-gated skin analysis from a selfie and product suggestions from our store catalogue. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may process:

• Email address — to send a one-time verification code, keep you signed in, and associate your scan history.
• Face photos — images you capture or upload for analysis.
• Analysis and preferences — skin scores, skin-type labels, refinement answers (for example sensitivity, budget, or ingredients to avoid), and product recommendation snapshots.
• Session and cart data — signed-in session cookies and a cart token used to continue shopping on our store.
• Technical and usage events — limited product analytics (for example scan started, image uploaded, or checkout opened) plus basic request metadata needed for security and abuse prevention.

How we use your information

We use this information to:

• Verify access and maintain your session
• Analyse your photo and show skin analysis results
• Generate personalised product and routine suggestions
• Sync a cart and hand off checkout to our store
• Prevent fraud, spam, and misuse
• Improve reliability and understand product funnel performance

Analysis is cosmetic and informational only. It is not a medical diagnosis or clinical assessment.

Photos and retention

Face photos are sensitive. We store them privately and delete uploaded photos after 24 hours.

A processed analysis image used to display your results may be kept for up to 30 days so you can revisit a scan, then it is deleted as well. Analysis scores and recommendation history linked to your email may remain until you delete your data.

You can remove your photos and scan history sooner at any time from the menu using Delete my data. That deletes stored photos, soft-deletes scan history linked to your email, ends your sessions, and signs you out.

Processors and sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us operate The 25th Hive Skin Analysis:

• AI analysis provider — processes your photo to generate skin analysis output
• Email provider — delivers one-time verification codes
• Cloud storage / hosting / database — stores app data and private scan images
• Our online store (WooCommerce) — catalogue, cart, and checkout; purchases are governed by the store’s own privacy practices

These providers process data on our instructions and only as needed to provide their services.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies for access sessions and cart continuity. Sessions typically last up to 24 hours. We do not use advertising trackers on this app.

Your choices

• You can request a new analysis or retake a photo at any time while signed in.
• You can delete your scans and related data with Delete my data.
• You can stop using the service and let photo retention expire automatically.

Children

The 25th Hive Skin Analysis is intended for adults. Do not use the service if you are under 16, and do not upload photos of minors.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
